Qamar Idris

Co-Founder

Qamar is a chartered accountant with a global perspective and a practical, solutions-driven approach. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK).

Qamar started his career in 2011 with a leading engineering firm, serving clients in engineering, construction, and contracting. He managed complex contractor-based transactions, including project-based billing, percentage-of-completion and completed contract revenue recognition, detailed job costing, and progress invoicing. He implemented and monitored internal controls for work-in-progress (WIP), cost allocation, and project account reconciliation, ensuring all processes met GAAP and IFRS standards, as applicable.

His expertise extends to robust financial controls, client contract management, accounts receivable/payable, and supporting teams through periods of rapid growth and change. Qamar’s passion for helping local businesses succeed led him to co-found QMD Bookkeeping, where he continues to provide audit-ready, compliant, and growth-oriented financial solutions for Sacramento’s small businesses and contractors.

Ola Adeosun

Co-Founder

Ola brings a unique blend of global expertise and local insight to QMD Bookkeeping. She began her career in 2009 as an accounting software consultant, implementing systems for diverse clients and specializing in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed asset management. After earning a bachelor’s in accounting from the United Kingdom and qualifying as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), Ola held accounting roles at Terragon Group, a media advertising agency, and Trauma Life Care Medical Transport, a non-emergency medical transportation company in the United States. There, she solved complex challenges, including reconciliations, transaction corrections, payroll discrepancies, audit preparation, tax compliance, vendor management, and cash flow optimization.

Noticing that many small business owners struggled with timely, accurate financial management, Ola co-founded QMD Bookkeeping to provide Sacramento and California businesses with clear, reliable, and personalized accounting solutions.

Temi Adeosun is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in financial accounting. With over 13 years devoted to managing financial records meticulously, Temi ensures accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Her sharp attention to detail and knack for streamlining processes have been honed over the years.
Drawing from a robust accounting background, Temi possesses a wealth of expertise crucial for efficiently handling complex tasks.
